I’ve been loving a lot of South African and Afrobeats artists lately like Soweto Blues by Juls, Busiswa, and Jaz Karis and Adiwele by Young Stunna.

I am trying to implement a consistent meditation practice. Even for just 10 minutes a day, it gives me the ability to pause throughout my day. Urgency is something I am trying to get rid of at the moment.

I’ve probably read a hundred novels in the last year; I love twisty thrillers and mysteries. Reading helps keep my work/life boundaries in place, it’s a great distraction.

A book that changed me would be ECM Sleeves of Desire by Lars Müller Publishers.

During lockdown I started to cook more at home than I ever did. So I’ve been implementing more home made meals and less restaurant outings.

The quarterly magazine Real Review published by REAL Foundation, edited by Jack Self. I’m collecting all the issues, they all are brilliant, and it’s always a nice object to look forward to getting in between my hands.

I try to implement a more strict office structure since I believe that we get more time left for creativity with a more stringent, not a looser framework.

I don’t identify as a modernist, although I admire their intention, spirit and output.

Back in the day, The Design of Everyday Things by Don Norman. I was at that point into web and interaction design for a bit and was surprised how narrow, and surface-level some of my thinking was — this is one of the books that helped expand it a bit.
