Exercises & Creative Prompts

This is not a static course—it’s a workshop built around active participation. Each week, you’ll receive a new exercise that encourages you to explore the concepts from the session in your own practice.

Two-Month Access to Private Community

We use the Circle platform to host an exclusive discussion forum. It’s a space to continue the conversation after lectures, ask questions between sessions, share your progress and connect directly with kindred creatives.

Curriculum

Learn how observation, curiosity and paying closer attention can become your greatest creative advantage, helping you discover ideas that others often overlook.

We’ll embrace unexpected turns and playfulness as ways to generate ideas, challenge assumptions and discover new creative directions.

Discover how resourcefulness, simple tools and unexpected constraints can unlock new possibilities, encourage inventive thinking and reshape the way you approach creative problems.

Every project begins with possibilities, but strong work emerges through thoughtful choices. We’ll explore how editing, refinement and restraint help reveal what truly matters.

Good work is rarely the result of one great idea. Stronger instincts and lasting confidence are built through repetition, consistency, experimentation and the willingness to fail.

Creative work develops through making, sharing and refining. Throughout the workshop, you’ll evolve your own project through practical assignments, feedback from Frédéric and open conversations with fellow participants.

Your Instructor

Frédéric Forest

Frédéric Forest is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Paris. He studied industrial design before working with leading contemporary designers including Erwan and Ronan Bouroullec, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance and Jean-Marie Massaud. He later cofounded Forest & Giaconia with Clémentine Giaconia, a studio working across furniture and interior design.

Drawing has been central to Forest’s practice since childhood. He explores line, absence and visual memory through a language that is minimal, sensitive and precise. His work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Centre d’Art Contemporain de Briançon and during Art Basel Miami. He has collaborated with brands and cultural figures including Chanel, Bang & Olufsen, Vogue, Lancôme and Polène.

Followed by more than 225,000 people on Instagram, his drawings have inspired more than 6,000 tattoos worldwide. Since 2017, Grammatical, the publishing imprint he co-founded, has released his art prints, books and objects.

Reflections From Past C.V Programs

Answering some fundamental questions about myself and the people around me has been transformative. The things I do have become more diverse and organic. I feel energized. I have developed flexibility while cherishing my own pace at the same time. Never in my life have I felt this way.

JOVANA S. (PHOTOGRAPHER)

Thanks to the workshop, I’ve carved out dedicated time for myself and my goals, both thinking big and drilling deeply into details. It takes constant persistence to achieve goals. You have to work toward something every day, but it’s also important to zoom out to your “why” and check in with yourself.

KATE C. (DESIGN RESEARCHER)

The workshop has helped me dive deep into who I am, embrace my cultural influences to have a unique perspective when creating work and taught me to have visual intelligence. I am much more aware of how art direction can influence the outcome of a project. I was really inspired after the workshop.

MONDE M. (DESIGNER)

Whatever field you are in, if you are looking for guidance from experts, a community of inspiring creatives, impressive case studies, honest feedback and perhaps a nudge to get going on your ideas, the classes and creative space will be more than worth your time. I have a newfound sense of clarity.

PRESLEA J. (WRITER)

The program allowed me to put things in perspective and approach my personal and professional life in a more strategic and balanced way. I trust myself and my choices more. I also recognize patterns in my process better now and let them evolve naturally. In the past, I didn’t have that confidence.

MONIKA S. (ARCHITECT & INTERIOR DESIGNER)

Creative Voyage felt like an enlightening compass during a dark in-between. The clarity, generosity, and no-nonsense insight helped me get real about what I want to chase, and how. If you want to sharpen your creative output (or a reminder on why you fell in love with the craft), this might be for you.
