Paula Codoñer Muñoz On Reimagining in the Face of Obstacles

Paula Codoñer Muñoz On Reimagining in the Face of Obstacles

PROJECT: DIZZY DIZZY DIZZY, 2020
WORDS & PHOTOGRAPHY: PAULA CODOÑER MUÑOZ

I started working on this editorial for Broccoli Magazine during the first lockdown in Spain when all but essential shops were closed. I couldn’t just go out to buy flowers nor prepare for a new photoshoot. So I decided to work with some personal images that I had already shot.Despite limitations, I wanted to provide unique visuals and ended up experimenting with post-production tools. I played with distortion, psychedelic colours, and blur. Through the creative process, I got reminded of the importance of adapting myself to new situations.

Learn to embrace the obstacles by working with what you have at hand.

ONE LESSON LEARNED IS A FEATURE IN WHICH CREATIVES SHARE THEIR PROJECT AND THE MAIN LESSON THEY’VE DISCOVERED WHILE CREATING IT.
